Looking back to the future: Kenna
For two years there’s been a CD in my car. I have an old school Alpine system with a 6 CD changer, but because I switch between Zunes and iPods/iPhones, I rarely change the CDs. The CD I came across while changing discs today is Kenna’s “Make Sure They See My Face“. I played it again, and realized it was no wonder that it sat next to the Wendy & Lisa and Kraftwerk CDs. It will probably go on a new playlist I’ve set up with artists like him and Janelle Monae. Sometimes you find yourslef being one of those records you play when you’re on the verge of something.
